Some people search for their calling, while others feel God guiding them every step of the way. For Chastity Weichselbaum at Anthem Realty, real estate was not just a career choice but a path illuminated by faith. From childhood curiosity to a thriving career, her road to real estate has been marked by divine direction and a deep passion for helping others find their homes. With her heart for helping others, she is destined for greatness in the world of real estate. 

A Lifelong Interest Turned Career

From an early age, Chastity found herself drawn to real estate. 

“I would snag house magazines outside the supermarket and circle all the houses I wanted to live in,” she smiles. “I’ve always been interested in real estate from a young age.” Little did she know that she would be selling homes decades later. 

Chastity and her husband, Jon, were led into real estate investing.  As Chastity navigated her own transactions, she found herself micromanaging her real estate agent—until she decided to get her own license.

“I originally got my license just for us to manage our own properties,” she shares. “But it naturally translated into helping others as well.”

Putting People First 

Helping others always came naturally to Chastity, who has a fascinating background. Originally from Arkansas, she moved to Alaska as a teenager and lived there until 2017 before returning to the lower 48. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Alaska and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Arkansas—both of which have proven invaluable in running her real estate business.

“Well-traveled and having met people from different backgrounds, I’ve developed a natural curiosity about life and what drives people,” she explains. “I always try to see things from others' perspectives, and that has shaped me into who I am today.” Her love for people drives her success in real estate. 

For Chastity, real estate is more than just transactions—it’s about relationships. She takes immense pride in working with families across generations.

“It’s so rewarding to represent a client and then, a year later, have them refer their child to me. I’ve had clients where I first represented them for a rental home, then helped their son find a forever home, and just recently, I closed on their hunting land.”

Balancing Multiple Roles

While Chastity is deeply passionate about real estate, she still maintains her career as a full-time software consultant. Specializing in building out programs and business processes for Workday software, she expertly juggles two demanding careers while raising a blended family.

“The biggest challenge has been time management,” she admits. “With kids and two careers, it’s a constant balancing act. But God has directed my path from step one to where I am now.”

Life Beyond Real Estate

Outside of real estate, Chastity and Jon lead a busy life on their hobby farm. Their blended family includes five children—Zach, Aislynn, Robin, Riley, and Rachel—as well as five dogs, goats, and a herd of 30 grass-fed cattle.

“We love raising cattle—it’s a family affair. One of our cows, Caramel Chicken, was bottle-fed as a baby and now thinks he’s a dog. He runs up and headbutts us for attention!” she laughs.

Real estate is also a family affair, as Chastity’s daughter-in-law, Alessandra, serves as her transaction coordinator. She also cherishes her role as a grandmother to her grandson, Teddy.

When she’s not tending to her farm or helping clients, Chastity enjoys lake days, church activities, and running a snow cone shack, Creams and Cones, in Inola. Despite her outward success and constant interaction with people, Chastity describes herself as a huge introvert.

“If I could spend an entire day reading a book, I would. Barnes & Noble is my happy place,” she confesses.

Advice for Aspiring Agents

For those looking to make their mark in real estate, Chastity’s advice is simple: be passionate, be a problem solver, and trust in God’s blessings.

“I truly love homes and finding solutions. When someone tells me they’re looking for a three-bedroom in a specific price range, I make it happen,” she says. A natural problem solver, she genuinely enjoys helping others.
