Construction Accounting and Project Management.
Owning a Cell Phone Shop.
Working as a Partner at a Comedy Club.
Adriana Fout did all of those jobs before real estate. “I’ve done a little bit of everything,” she laughs. “For the most part, it was construction accounting and project management for custom home builders.” Each role sharpened a different skill set within this entrepreneur, and together, they formed the foundation of a producing broker who understands the business from every angle.
In high school, she excelled, even earning a scholarship but chose a different path. She entered the workforce and immersed herself in construction, later attending Los Medanos Community College to study accounting while already working in construction accounting.
In 2008, during the recession, Adriana relocated to Oklahoma from California and pivoted once again, jumping into a local comedy club business, then later a cell phone repair shop. At the time she met the broker who would change the trajectory of her career, Adriana had taken time off from working to focus on her health. Adriana had asked the broker to list her home, but the meeting didn’t go as planned. The broker was double-booked, rushed through the appointment, and left abruptly.
“How can I help?” asked Adriana.
“Get your license and sell your own home,” her broker said. “I will give you work.” That’s how Adriana got started in real estate, earning her license in 2018.
When her broker wanted to open a second location, she told Adriana to get her broker’s license. “So I did,” she says. “It was the summer of COVID and the busiest time of my life. It was very difficult to take the class because I had to do it virtually.” With focus challenges, she had a hard time sitting still on lengthy Zoom calls. “There were a lot of wall sits and jumping jacks during the class,” she laughs.
She pushed through, earned her broker’s license in 2021, and helped open the second location. When the brokerage later received an offer to be acquired by Keller Williams, Adriana chose a different path.
In April 2024, during a season of major personal change, with encouragement of others, Adriana made one of the boldest decisions of her life: she opened her own brokerage, Elevate Realty. “It’s been a wild ride since then,” she says.
The name Elevate was intentional. Adriana believes deeply in omnipresent marketing, the psychology of repeated exposure. “When people see the word ‘elevate’ enough times, their brain starts to remember it,” she explains. “They may not remember exactly where, but they remember us.” Less than two years in, that strategy has been working.
Today, Adriana is leading an office of 13 agents while still selling at a high level herself. In 2025, she closed 22 homes. Elevate Realty also offers property management, leasing, wholesaling, and commercial services. Social media plays a key role in the brokerage’s visibility, with agents creating listing videos, teaser content, and fun voiceover reels. Once a week, time is dedicated to content creation, complete with group videos and photos, an effort Adriana spearheads to ensure every agent is supported and seen.
“I celebrate my agents a lot,” she says. “When they go under contract, I share it. When they post buyer or seller content, I share it. Their wins matter.”
Adriana’s business is built entirely on repeat and referral clients. While she describes herself as private and quiet, she has started using social media to allow clients to see more of who she really is and to connect with her authenticity.
Giving back is a cornerstone of her work. As a Homes for Heroes affiliate, Adriana proudly serves veterans, active-duty military, first responders, educators, and medical professionals. She donates 30 percent of her commission to the nonprofit, which then sends a majority of the funds to the hero clients she works with. Her passion for this work is deeply personal—her ex-husband is a veteran, and her own experience with a poorly understood VA loan motivated her to become an expert in that space. “There’s so much misinformation around VA loans,” she says. “I made it my mission to know them inside and out.”
When asked about her keys to success, Adriana doesn’t hesitate: know the contract, understand the contract, and always put the client first. “I make it very clear. My clients’ satisfaction means more to me than the money that ends up in my pocket.”
Looking ahead, Adriana envisions Elevate Realty continuing to grow—without charging office fees to agents—and sees herself stepping further into an educational role. She already offers CE credits and plans to expand training opportunities within her brokerage and the broader community.
Outside of real estate, Adriana is a self-described homebody. “I love cooking for my family and watching sports,” she says. She also loves to travel and see new places.
From construction sites to closing tables, Adriana Fout has built a brokerage that reflects who she is: disciplined, service-driven, and always elevating those around her.
