Flow Photos Tulsa

When Devin Woolery first heard about Flow Photos, he wasn’t shopping for a side business or searching for a new passion. At the time, he was working in web development, leading a website team for a Tulsa-based marketing firm that also specialized in business consulting and quarterly conferences. It was at one of those events that he met Ryan and Erin Wells, the founders of Flow Photos in Oklahoma City.
“They were talking about how they were working on moving up here to the Tulsa area but just didn’t have the time to make it happen,” Woolery recalls. “I threw out the idea that I’d be interested in learning and possibly running a Tulsa location for them.”
That conversation sparked an opportunity. By June 2021, Flow Photos had a new home in Tulsa, and Woolery was at the helm.
From Web Design to Wide-Angle Lenses
With a background in design and composition, Woolery was already attuned to what makes a strong visual impression. Photography felt like a natural extension of his skills. “It’s a creative outlet for me,” he says. “I can go out, take photos of beautiful homes—or sometimes less beautiful homes—and present them in ways that catch people’s attention.”
But Woolery’s interest went beyond just artistry. He was fascinated by the stories of the real estate professionals he met—agents passionate about serving clients, builders crafting new communities, and homeowners at pivotal life moments. Photography became his way of helping those stories come alive.
Standing Out in a Crowded Market
Real estate photography isn’t exactly a wide-open field, especially in a competitive market like Tulsa. Woolery knew that to succeed, Flow Photos Tulsa would need to deliver something different.
One of the most popular offerings? A $1 first shoot. New clients receive a full-service package—including MLS photos, drone shots, and a property website—for just a single dollar. “It’s not a stripped-down trial,” Woolery explains. “It’s the full experience, because we want people to see what it’s like to work with us.”
Another differentiator is the company’s free reshoot policy. There are no cancellation fees, no penalties if sellers aren’t ready, and no extra charges if weather forces a redo. “As the name implies, we just flow with it,” Woolery says with a smile. “We understand that in real estate, not everything goes perfectly to plan.”
The team also provides services beyond photography: drone work, listing videos, reels for social media, and custom property websites. “A lot of people think of us as just photographers, but we really offer the whole package,” Woolery says.
Building a Team with Heart
While Woolery is the owner of Flow Photos Tulsa, he doesn’t work alone. A small team of photographers contributes their talents, some specializing in drone work, others focused on interiors and MLS shots.
“What’s important is that everyone carries the same heart we do,” Woolery emphasizes. “We want to overdeliver for our clients every single time.” That philosophy has helped build a loyal client base among Tulsa’s real estate professionals, who often face unpredictable challenges in getting homes market-ready.
Family, Faith, and a Few Rounds of Golf
Away from the camera, Woolery’s world is grounded in family and community. He and his wife, Denise, are raising four children: Katherine, Sarah, Daniel, and Nate. “The kids would love to be featured in an article,” he says with a laugh. “Especially Nate—he’s the easiest to spell and the biggest troublemaker.”
When time allows, Woolery enjoys golfing and volunteering at his church, where he and his family are active members. Even his free time often circles back to Flow Photos—he admits he genuinely enjoys creating and editing videos for Realtors, even when it feels like work.
Passionate About Helping Realtors Win
For Woolery, success isn’t measured simply in bookings or revenue. His bigger goal is helping Realtors succeed in their own businesses.
“My hope is that when people work with me, they come away saying, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a photographer who’s as passionate about my business as I am,’” he says. “I want Realtors to win. I want them to get the listing, to make their clients happy, and to sell homes faster.”
That mindset has helped Flow Photos Tulsa stand out—not only as a media company but as a partner invested in the success of its clients.
Looking Ahead
As the Tulsa branch continues to grow, Woolery remains committed to both creativity and consistency. With editing handled centrally by the Oklahoma City team, every photo package maintains the same polished standard across locations. Meanwhile, Woolery and his Tulsa team are free to focus on relationships, creativity, and service.
