“The struggle ends when gratitude begins.” – Neale Donald Walsch

If you ask Jeanette Bagrosky the secret to her success, she won’t give you a business formula or a marketing tip—she’ll simply say: “Gratitude.” And she means it. With a heart full of compassion and a deep love for her family, Jeanette has built a thriving real estate career rooted in service, integrity, and heart.

From Foster Siblings to Real Estate Sales

Interestingly, real estate wasn’t on the radar for Jeanette. “I thought I was going to be a therapist,” she candidly comments. “It was a passion of mine.” And in many ways, she is—just in a different setting. Her clients often find themselves leaning on her not just for real estate expertise but for emotional support, guidance, and genuine understanding. “There have been plenty of tears and hand-holding. I’m their advocate, their confidante, and their biggest cheerleader. I take that seriously.”

That sense of empathy was born early. Raised in a bustling household in Beaverton, Michigan, Jeanette is one of ten children. Her parents, John and Judie Klimkiewicz, opened their hearts and home to more than 120 foster children through the Catholic Diocese. Four of those children were adopted into the family. “Watching so many children come in and out of our home—many from heartbreaking situations—shaped me profoundly,” Jeanette says. “It taught me to never take my family for granted, to be empathetic toward others, and to be a good steward of the opportunities that God has given me.”

A New Path, The Right Reason

After becoming a full-time mom to three, Jeanette searched for a way to stay active professionally without sacrificing time with her children. She had worked as a legal assistant, activity coordinator at a nursing home, and then ran a curriculum-based home daycare business that helped her kids thrive structurally and socially. But it was after her family's seventh or eighth relocation for her then-husband’s job that real estate truly caught her attention.

“We worked with so many agents—some amazing, others clearly in it for the wrong reasons. I wanted to do it differently. I wanted to make a difference in people’s experiences.”

She dove in part-time near the end of 2007, and by the end of 2008, she had earned “Rookie of the Year.” She was hooked. Now, 18 years later, Jeanette has closed over $115 million in career sales WITH $16.7 million just last year with Coldwell Banker Select. She is thankful for her current (and past) brokerages that have given her the tools she needs to be successful.

In an impersonal age, there is no substitute for service. A woman of compassion, Jeanette is all about delivering top-tier service to her clients. “I want every client to feel heard and valued,” she says. “I go above and beyond not because I have to—but because my clients deserve that.”

Jeanette has had the biggest growth in her career over the past 5 years and states she contributes that growth to MANY people, but the two key players are Michelle Beemer and Sam Stewart. Michelle is a licensed agent and Jeanette’s assistant. “She is truly the glue that keeps everything together at work. She has streamlined my business, OUR business, and I’m confident it would not have grown like it has without her.” (More on Sam later!)

Her advice for aspiring agents? “Know when to ask for help. Whether you need a mentor as a new agent or an assistant as a seasoned one, don’t be afraid to admit when you need support. It’s a strength, not a weakness.”

Building a Business with Kids in Tow

Launching a career in a new city where she knew few people wasn’t easy. “I wasn’t from Oklahoma. I didn’t have a network,” she recalls. “I did a lot of open houses, often with my kids in tow. One client led to a referral, and then another. I slowly built a business that way.”

Jeanette’s family remains her everything. Her parents, who are 78 and 80, moved in with her and Sam in August of 2024. Her dad, who has dementia, still keeps everyone laughing. Her mom, who has macular degeneration, is “a saint” and continues to laugh at his jokes after 57 years of marriage.

Now back to Sam – Sam is Jeanette’s other half of 4 ½ years and has been her biggest supporter, best friend, scuba diving instructor, and soon-to-be husband. Sam has a full-time, successful career of his own as well as his real estate license, which he obtained 2-3 years ago to help Jeanette out. In addition to that, he keeps everything running smoothly at home, from the lawn to laundry to projects; he does it all. "If it weren't for Sam holding down the fort, there is no way I could do everything I do for both my clients and my parents. I've never felt so loved and supported," she says beaming. "We are getting married in October."

Despite Jeanette’s successes in real estate, her children are really what makes her most proud. “My three children are all married and thriving now. They are hands-down my greatest accomplishments in life; I love them with my whole heart,” she says. “Throw in their spouses and Sam’s kiddos and I feel extra blessed!” Jeanette’s children and spouses, respectively: Devon and Kim Bagrosky, Lexi and Chase Gaddis, and Megan and Ethan Cline. Sam’s children/Jeanette’s bonus children: Natalee and Katelyn Stewart. “Blending a family comes with its own challenges, especially with older children, but we are figuring it out together!”

Faith, Family, and Fun

Outside of work, Jeanette lives for family events, travel, and time by the pool. She, Sam, and a few other family members even bowl together in a league—bowling runs deep in the family. Her grandparents, parents, uncle, and even her sister and brother-in-law have all owned bowling alleys over the years.

More recently, Sam certified Jeanette in scuba diving, and the couple has been exploring the underwater world together—another shared passion to add to their growing list.

Always Counting Her Blessings

Jeanette Bagrosky approaches life with gratitude as her compass. Whether she’s helping a client find their dream home, navigating the challenges of caregiving, or planning her upcoming wedding, she does it all with grace, grit, and a grateful heart.

“My friends say I look for the best in people. Sometimes that backfires on me, but I wouldn’t change it. That’s who I am.”

And that’s exactly why people are drawn to Jeanette—not just for her skill as a real estate agent, but for her spirit as a human being.
